It's All about Dead Men
I thoroughly enjoyed each book in this series - especially the titles. I could imagine myself being part of this community and hanging out with the characters - but not solving murders! Goldie is a hoot and in "Dead Men Don't Act" Louie the German Shepard steals the show. I'm hoping there will be Book 5 soon.
Pine Haven's Hero, Kahlua
Third book of the series and it sent Carolina,Jack and Kahlua on another dangerous murder mystery. All the suspects are staying at the Blueberry Hill Inn and they have secret agendas. Through twists and turns, Carolina is determined not to be scared off and to find the killer before they get away.
Love the way the story is told
I really enjoy reading CC Trace’s books and the method she uses to deliver the story. The characters and the setting all feel very real. Can’t wait for more in the series.

A great quick read. Carolina overhearing a heated argument is only the start to the mystery ahead. With a big event in town and a mystery guest writing a review on the B&B that Carolina and Angela own, a murder is the last thing they want to have to deal with. However, when Carolina discovers the body of a guest she is determined to help solve the case.
